At Cappoquin Childcare we have developed a safe and loving environment where your child’s imagination and emerging interests are nurtured by our dedicated and passionate team of Early years educators.

We are a play based and child led service that focuses on promoting a love of learning and exploration and to help children develop their essential skills from 6 months plus.

Cappoquin Community Development Company operates the creche facility which includes baby room, toddler room, 2 preschool rooms and an after schools’ room.

The facility operates on Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 6.00pm.

Operating Hours

Preschool classes operate from 9.00am to 12.00 noon and from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.

The afterschool’s facility operates from 2.00pm to 6.00pm with children being collected from the local national school at 1.45pm and 2.45pm and bussed to the facility where they are provided with a hot meal and assisted with homework.

Staff

The facility is managed by fully trained professional staff. The current supervisory staff are Ms Maria Uniacke and Ms Laura O’Rourke

All fees are collected by direct debit on a weekly basis.

Safety

The service is fully registered with TUSLA and is regularly audited by TUSLA, HSE and POBAL.

The facility has the benefit of a fully enclosed outdoor play area and also the use of the sport’s hall at times of inclement weather.
